Hi Shinies,
Many people have heard about the Law of Attraction, but very few realise that it is only one piece of a much larger system. The 12 Universal Laws describe the energetic and spiritual principles that shape our reality and influence the experiences we attract into our lives. Understanding these laws can help us see life from a completely different perspective. Instead of feeling like passive observers of reality, we begin to recognise our role as participants in a much greater universal process.

We all know about the one of the most famous Universal Laws, the Law of Attraction. The truth is that there are 11 other Universal Laws that are deeply important and the Law of Attraction is only one of them. In order for this law to work, it needs to be in synergy with the other Laws.
The work done by The Secret was correct, if we look at it in a linear way. It was brilliant as a way to introduce the law to people but because of the interconnection between laws, most people get demotivated due to lack of results.
The use of vision boards, visualisations and affirmations isn't enough for many people. We think that the magic can work based only on desires and intentions, which is correct for a linear approach, but life is never linear. Even after years, we don't totally grasp the entire immensity of their spectrum, how these laws are embedded in our lives, and how little we really know about them.
“Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion that the universe is immaterial, mental and spiritual.” -Richard Conn Henry- professor of physics and astronomy.
Let's see the 12 Universal Laws that make up our reality. These laws are based on philosophical, metaphysical and quantum physics principles.
Universal Law of Divine Oneness
Universal Law of Vibration
Universal Law of Correspondence
Universal Law of Attraction
Universal Law of Inspired Action
Universal Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
Universal Law of Compensation
Universal Law of Cause and Effect
Universal Law of Relativity
Universal Law of Rhythm
Universal Law of Polarity
Universal Law of Gender

1. universal law of divine oneness
“All energy, matter, space, and time are one; therefore we are all connected to the rest of the Universe we move through.”
This means that everything we do has a ripple effect and impacts the collective, not just ourselves. It is like a musical instrument with a single cord: if we pinch it at any point, the change is happening to the entire cord instantaneously.
Everything we see, touch, hear, taste and smell in our reality is a form of energy. If we look at the reality, we all know that the smallest things that construct our world are electrons and quarks; well... this is a lie.
The building blocks of our reality are quantum fields. Let's just imagine that we have a fabric under tension: this is our quantum field, the electrons and quarks are more like knots within the fabric. Like our cord, if we pinch them we create a change that is going to affect the entire fabric. Therefore, anything we do in our reality is going to affect the entire world around us.
2. Universal Law of Vibration
“Everything in the Universe is in a constant state of movement and never rests. We refer to these movements as vibrations, and the speed or rate at which something vibrates is called its frequency.”
It means that everything is in motion, even the objects that we perceive in a state of immobility, like a rock. The motion of a vibration is a circular pattern, but what defines the amplitude of the vibration is the frequency. Every single thing in this Universe has its own unique frequency.
The constituent of our frequency are emotions and thoughts. The summary of all our emotions and thoughts, including conscious and subconscious ones, creates our own vibration.
Emotions with a low frequency are: sense of powerlessness, depression, sadness, despair etc. Thoughts with the low frequency are: negative talk and negative self-talk, detrimental beliefs and associations.
Emotions with a high frequency are: love, joy, empowerment, gratitude etc. Thoughts with a high frequency are: thought of appreciation and loving self-talk, gratitude, beneficial beliefs and associations.
3. Universal Law of Correspondence
“What happens around us is a direct reflection of what is happening within us.”
It means that the Universe is a massive mirror and our internal world generates a pattern that repeats itself both outside and inside. This means that we create this fractal-like structure that the world reproduces at an infinite scale.
Our inner world is reflected in the actions, words and behaviours of the people around us. At the same time, we are the mirror of somebody else's inner world. The collective perception of reality is going to be reflected in worldwide events. To simplify this concept, we can say that the war outside us is a reflection of the war within us.
Think for a moment when you get ready for the day in the morning in front of a mirror. It often begins with negative self-talk, like: "how bad the face look this morning", "how ugly that wrinkle is", or "look at the size of the bags under the eyes". From there, it continues with thoughts like "how stupid what I said to the boss yesterday was", "how much of a failure I feel like", and "how much time I waste when I could do everything differently" and so on. This is not only happening in front of the mirror, it also happens every single time we speak to an other person.
This internal war with ourselves is what generates the conditions to co-create a reality that is the exact copy of the way we relate to ourselves. If we want to change what we see, we need to change the relationship we have with ourselves.
4. Universal Law of Attraction
“We will attract into our life whatever we focus on because like attracts like.”
Here we are to our superstar law. At this point, it is starting to become clear why this law was incomplete. In fact, the Law of Attraction only works in direct synergy with the previous laws.
Here is where we need to pay attention on how and where the focus goes. The Universe is going to manifest all the things present in our signature vibration, recreating an exact copy of our emotions and thoughts in our reality.
This is another example of how this works: The Law of Correspondence reflects an instance present inside ourselves that we may or may not be aware of. This leads to triggering a reaction within us that produces a frequency through the Law of Vibration. The information of our frequency is spread simultaneously throught the all Universe, thanks to the Law of Divine Oneness. Ultimately, reality is going to arrange itself due to the Law of Attraction matching the frequency that we hold.
Suddenly, all this doesn't seem so simple anymore, does it? It is crucial to understand this complexity if we want to work in harmony with the Universal Laws.

5. Universal Law of Inspired Action
“We need to take real, actionable and inspired steps in our lives to see changes happening towards what we want to manifest in our life.”
It means that all our desires need to be supported by inspiration in the process of our decision-making, and then interact with our reality through actions in order to obtain a change in the direction of these desires. If you want to dive deeper into how to transform your desires into reality, check out my post How to Make Dreams & Desires Successful.
An inspired action consists of moving with a flow of energy to allows things to occur naturally. The opposite is acting in an attempt to force things to happen. It doesn't mean that we should refrain from taking any action, but rather we should take those actions that the inner-self drives through inspiration.
The reason why the inspiration is so important is because it has an incredible amount of activation energy that carries intensity and passion. It fills us with enthusiasm when we move towards its direction, and we need to act while this energy is still present.
The moment we stop ourselves from taking action towards it, passion and energy will fade away over time if we don't feed them. They won't disappear completely, but their intensity will be quite lowe, making it harder to take any steps. This is because we create room for self-doubt and past painful associations that will try to stop us from following our inner wisdom.
6. Universal Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
“Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but only transmuted or transferred.”
It means that everything in existence is going to change and turn into something different. No matter how hard we try, we are never going to be able to freeze things in space and time. Change is a natural process that all of us are subject to.
For example, if you are about to read a book, the person you will be once you arrived at the end of that book will be different from your present self. This is because you will be a version of yourself with more knowledge, and that makes you a different person. In other words, there is a death of an old self and a rebirth of a new improved one.
The same happens with new experiences or even traumas. When we go through a painful or joyful experience, we are always going to be different afterwards. There will always be something to gain, a lesson to learn, a deeper breakdown, or an inner turning point. The difference is made by how we chose to take and integrate that experience.
7. Universal Law of Compensation
“We harvest only what we sow and we receive only what we have put in.”
This means that the perspective from which we look at the world is going to be equal to the one we are spiralling in. Any type of information we introduce into the Universe through words, actions, thoughts and emotions is going to be the things that we are going to receive.
It is not a law built on a punishment-reward scheme, but rather a way to make us responsible for anything we do. We can either choose to see the world as cruel and harsh, feeling like its victims and remaining stuck in a state of powerlessness, or we can choose to see if there is any part of ourselves that feeds that reality and take responsibility for those parts in order to find a resolution within ourselves.
If you think about it, when someone smiles at you, you are automatically going to feel a shift within yoursef. That very simple act is an acknowledgement directed towards you that adds positive energy to your day. On the contrary, any time you are surrounded by stress and tension, it can penetrate you like a poison that depletes your energy.
8. Universal Law of Cause and Effect
“Every cause has its effect and every effect has its cause. Everything happens for a reason and nothing is left to chance.”
It means that everything we do, and everything we choose not to do, will have a consequence. This Law teaches us that what we call good luck and misfortune are not possible, but highlights our lack of self-awareness on having a clear vision of how we, as individuals, can affect, alter and change our reality.
We believe that we cannot do anything impactful for others only because we feel so small in comparison to people who seem much important than us. The reality is that there is no hierarchy in the Universe. Everyone's energy is equally important and impactful.
For example, if we pick a flower in a field, this simple and innocent but unaware act will change that ecosystem irreversibly and affect numerous lives that depend on that flower. The plant that we injured in order to take that flower will first need to spend more energy to adjust because of the injury, compromising the other blossoms and the production of a new ones. As part of a chain reaction, bees, butterflies and other insects will have less pollen available.
Because that flower would have produced several seeds, by removing it we are also removing the potential propagation of that specimen that could have been realised from those seeds, in this way, we compromise the species itself.
This is from our perspective, this might seem like an insignificant act that never meant to cause harm, because we perceive ourselves as insignificant as well. It is the same dynamic, for example, that contributes to coral reefs dying and the many form of lives that depend on them disappearing as well, therefore affecting the entire ocean ecosystem. Ultimately, it is going to backfire on us. Unfortunately, it will not affect us directly but rather the future generations we try to protect and nourish.
9. Universal Law of Relativity
“Everything is neutral and nothing is comparable.”
It means that everything in existence carries a negative or positive value in itself. Value is generated when something else enters in relationship with it. This defines the principles of perspective and truth. These principles are always subjective and never objective. Because they depend on the angle from which the observer views the object of observation.
To explain this concept, let's take two people whom we will call Mike and Jeff. Mike lives in Boston and Jeff lyves in Cyprus. Mike is going to Cyprus to meet Jeff in May. In Boston, the temperature in that month is usually between 10°C and 19°C , while in Cyprus is between 17°C and 27°C .
The conversation between the two may go like this:
Mike: "Hey man, I'm boiling here. How can you cope with it?"
Jeff: "Is it? You are lucky. The really hot weather comes in August.".
The perception of "hot" in this example is created by Mike's perception, it is not that the place itself is inhospitable, otherwise life would not exist there. It is the subjective perception that assigns a positive or a negative value to the experiece.
Mike is sweating and suffering, and this is his truth, which is not shared by Jeff. Does this mean that Mike's experience is not true or less true? Of corse not. He simply has a different experience, and his body is accustomed to a different temperature range. This is his subjective truth.
Therefore, both Mike and Jeff are right. Two subjective perspectives can coexist with two subjective truths. This applies to everything we encounter, and most of the time there are more than just two perspectives and truths coexisting in a situation.

10. Universal Law of Rhythm
“Everything in the Universe has a cycle. Everything that goes one way comes back in the opposite direction, and the process repeats itself endlessly.”
It means that there is a rhythm between any pair of poles or opposites. This allows the movement from one element to the other, and this does not necessarily mean that they are extreme forces.
All the cycles; such as life, seasons, phases of development, and patterns are the building blocks of this rhythm. We can also describe it like a pendulum that swings from left to right and then back again.
We can experience positive periods in our life, but in order to recognise them as positive, we must also have experienced the negative ones. Our goal is not to resist these cycles but to take the best from each phase or pattern and move with it rather than against it.
Like the ocean that has its waves, you can either be the surfer who rides those waves or the rocks that is slowly eroded by them. We cannot resist or force something that we do not have control over and expect no repercussions for ourselves.
11. Universal Law of Polarity
“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature but different in degree; extremes meet.”
It means that for anything we conceptualise, there is an opposite and equal force. For example: light and dark, winter and summer, empty and full, hot and cold, autonomy and dependency, day and night, water and fire, motion and stillness and so on.
It teaches us that in order to know something, we need to experience its opposite so that we can understand and feel the difference. How can we know what joy is if we had never experienced sadness?
It also doesn't mean that one polarity is better than the other. As we saw with the Law of Rhythm, these experiences are part of the natural movment of life. In our lives we will always have amazing news or moments that spark joy, and likewise we will experience moments of sadness that bring us down.
Our goal is not trying to escape or resisting an unwanted polarity, but rather to embrace it and sink into the experience just as we would with a desired polarity. What we resist persists. The more we try to make the experience different, the more that experience is going to stay the same for longer time.
The more we allow ourselves to open to the experience and see the reason of our resistance, the more the teachings that we need to learn for our expansion are going to unfold before our own eyes.
Are we able to stop the coming of the night? Of course not. Therefore, it is not within our power to change externale forces, but we can understand the reasons behind our resistance. Healing detrimental associations and beliefs is something we do have absolute power to work on.
12. Universal Law of Gender
++
Everything that exist contains a combination of masculine and feminine energy. These two forces need to be in balance in order to manifest a potentiality. A perfect visual representation of this is the Taoist symbol of Yin and Yang, where Yin represent the feminine and Yang the masculine.
Some feminine attribute are: receptivity, nurture, intelligence, intuition and so on. Some of the masculine attribute are: logic, expression, practicality, vision and so on.
The Yin and Yang symbol consists in a circle divided into two halves by a curved line. One half is black, representing Yin, while the other is white, representing Yang. A small dot of the opposite colour is placed within each half. The two halves intertwine in a spiral-like curve, symbolising the dynamic interaction between the two forces. The small dots represent that each side contains the seed of the other.
For example, the night carries a feminine energy but if the sky is clear and a full moon and stars are shining brightly, the night may express a strong masculine energy throught the presence of light, while still maintaining its feminine nature. Another example is the ocean, although water has feminine energy, the powerful currents and the harsh aspects of the sea express strong masculine energy.
For the last thousand of years, the human race has operated predominantly though masculine energy and identified the aspects of the feminine energy as bad and unwanted. This has created an imbalance, forcing masculine energy to slip in its shadow aspects in order to oppose what was rejected. In truth, these two energies must remain in balance in order to express their constructive and beneficial aspects.
The first step
If we want to have the life we have always wanted, we need to understand that the world does not exist outside of ourselves. We are part of the Universe, with all that has been said, thought, felt and done, and at the same time the Universe; and everything that has been said, thought, felt and done; is part of us.
If we learn from the patterns which the Universe operates and recognise those same same patterns within ourselves, we can begin to take care of those inner aspects. From there, we can discover how to heal, how to thrive and how to become conscious co-creators of our own lives.
As you explore these 12 Universal Laws, take a moment to notice which ones flow naturally in your life and which ones feel like a challenge. Which of these laws are guiding you effortlessly, and which are inviting you to grow and expand? Reflect on your own experiences and see how your thoughts, emotions, and actions are connected to the patterns of the Universe. Remember, understanding these laws is not about perfection but about awareness — each insight is a step towards creating a life in harmony with your true self.
A hug from the deep.
